I met Monica, Steven and little D last summer when I did their engagements on one of their Utah trips. Monica had seen my work through the great world of facebook on a friends profile. We instantly had a connection so when they hired me for their wedding as soon as the session was done I was beyond excited. We became friends and Monica would send me little details about their wedding, but never did I imagine she peeked in my head and saw all of my favorite wedding details I have stored for a “someday” sort of thing.
When we finally saw each other again at her hotel she teary eyed raved about all of her vendors specially about the owner of Odds and Ends Janna Trovato. Everyone had taken such good care of her and eased her mind while planning her destination wedding while still living and working in Florida.
When I arrived at Green Barn Gardens I gasped in awe at the beautiful location highlighted by the perfect weather and light. But when I met the owner and saw how much work she had put into making Monica’s vision together I was taken back. Monica mentioned she would have loved to have had a dance area for her guests to party the night away. So a beautiful dance floor she had built for the occasion to the brides liking.
While exploring the location I found Janna and her husband working like busy little bees transforming an already beautiful location into Monica’s (and mine) dream details vintage wedding. During the evening Janna and I had the chance to chat and decided we will be doing a concept shoot together very soon so stay tuned for that.
Caterer to this beautiful wedding was Beau from Roosters in Layton Utah. The food was divine! They provided the plates, utensils, napkins, glasses and incredible service. They were professional and full of smiles. They also did bar service. If you are looking for an incredible caterer give them a try!
In the mean time, I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of this wedding. I have to also mention the DJ’s from Rock it audio that helped us all have a great time. He played a lot of great Spanish music that even had me shaking it side to side in between pictures.
This was truly Monica’s (and My) dream wedding.
